Professor Pahl-Lesch was a first-generation, non-traditional student who received her Bachelor’s, 硕士, 和Ph值.D degrees in physics from the University of Texas at 圣安东尼奥.  She has been teaching physics for 14 years, starting with lab courses during graduate school, then lecturing in both physics and atmospheric dynamics and instrumentation at the University of the Incarnate Word before coming to NLC. For the last 3 years, Professor Pahl-Lesch has been a faculty advisor for meteorology students, and for the last 7 years coordinated a summer research and mentoring program that provides research experience to high school students in the 圣安东尼奥 area. Her free time is a whirlwind of her daughter's imagination, 现场音乐, 开阔的道路, theoretical physics, and still working on that theory of everything.
